Printing

In the Engineering Library

  • There is one black & white printer located on the first floor of the Engineering Library.
  • The printer is able to print only the following sizes of paper: 8.5" x 11", 8.5" x 14", 11" x 14". (Color printing is not available at the Engineering Library. Color printing is available at Foster Business Library, Suzzallo/Allen and OUGL)
  • To use this printer upload it via My Print Center (see below) and retrieve it from the Engineering Library printer.
  • Default setting is for double-sided printing. Change to single-sided if necessary.
  • Payment for printing requires money in your Husky Card account or a Dawg Prints card. Cash payment is not possible.
  • Money can be added to your Husky Card account online with a credit card or at the Husky Card Office in OUGL.
  • Visitors can ask for a Dawg Prints card at the Information Desk to use the printers.
  • All printers on campus are provided by Dawg Prints from Creative Communications: Email: c2info@uw.edu with any comments or questions.

Scanning at the Engineering Library

    • A Scan Station is located on the first floor. Scan your book or document and send the file via email, print it (pay with a HuskyCard or DawgPrints card) or save to a USB drive.
        • To a USB (flash drive - cannot be Mac-formatted drive)
        • To a print station
        • To email (non-UW users should ask at Information Desk for a temporary UWNetID)
        • To mobile device
        • To Google Drive
      • The Scan stations in the UW Libraries are maintained by UW Creative Communications. Email: c2info@uw.edu with any comments or questions.
        • Three flatbed scanners are located on the 3rd floor in the ELIC Computer Lab. Please note: a UWNetID is required to use the ELIC scanners.
